About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. My research focus is mental health services research.

I started fishing for trout and salmon on Lake Ontario in 1990 and began fishing bass tournaments in 1999. I am actively involved in my bass clubs, serving on committees, and as the Tournament Director for several years. I also join the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in my hometown for their annual fishing derby.

I have caught several lunkers and have top ten finishes in national tournaments on the Women's Bassmaster tour, team tournaments in the Massachusetts Bass Federation, and in club tournaments. I finished 9th in the B.A.S.S. Federation Nation of Massachusetts State Championships, qualifying for the 2011 Divisionals.

I purchased a boat in 2009 and I hope to establish relationships with sponsoring companies. I strive for advancement opportunities in pursuit of a professional fishing career while increasing the visibility of those sponsors who are willing to grow with me
